he Dyson DC24 Post Motor filter (Fits Part 915928-01) is the other filter on your vacuum, located down by the motor exhaust of your Dyson DC24 Vacuum Cleaner. The filter can be found in the 'ball' of the machine, so we need to take off the door to get to it. This filter is washable and we recommend you wash it at least every three months. Rinse it under the sink about ten times and then leave it to dry for 24-48 hours. Please make sure that this is filter is completely dry before you put it back in your vacuum as you don't want any moisture getting in the vacuum's motor. It's very important that you keep this filter very clean - if it gets clogged, it may cause your vacuum motor to overheat and cause damage to the internal parts.
To Wash the Dyson DC24 Post Filter
1. Turn over and tap very firmly to remove motor emissions.
2. Repeat 10x or until water runs clear.
3. Let the filter air dry for at least 24-48 hours.
